Overview:
This position is located in Murfreesboro, TN The Application Analyst reports to the IT Manager, BAS and holds responsibility for the support, integration and modernization of credit union financial and back-office applications and systems.
The role is accountable for maintaining and modernizing vendor applications and core platform services, through a combination of hands-on production support, on-call rotation schedules, maintenance of new and/or existing applications, and software code development.
Additionally, the Application Analyst develops credit union automation software in languages such as C#, SQL, PowerOn, and other modern-day programming tools.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting application errors (analyzing system logs, application logs, stack traces, etc.
) and triaging incidents to identify root cause Deliver software solutions using PowerOn components and the PowerOn Studio (Jack Henry & Associates platform) or be familiar with procedural languages that can ensure success with the PowerOn Framework Create and maintain technical documentation regarding assigned applications/vendors that contains articulate technical specifications (system-specific details, services, functional and technical process flows) and clear support details that can easily be used by both business and IT personnel Perform data analysis using PowerBI reports to provide metrics for other business units Responsible for staying ahead of vendor contract expirations, security certificate expirations, software patches, and any other system updates that could affect production operations Demonstrate a strong ability to perform failure analysis and determine corrective actions for restoring production applications and preventing future issues Track and achieve monthly and annual return-to-service (recovery time) and availability targets for responsible applications and vendors Implement and/or integrate vendor-supplied software applications in the production environment in a controlled and calculated manner that will maximize business proficiency and minimize business disruption Maintain a strong sense of urgency supporting day-to-day on-call support and issue resolution.
Perform on-call duties on a rotating schedule within the team Support and advise IT leadership on business application capabilities and options through research/analysis of internal and external business data, industry best practices, and competitive technology information Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and works well within a team environment.

Qualifications:
Education Four-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience Work Experience 1-3 years Software development using C#, Javascript, PowerShell, Python, SQL, PowerOn or another modern-day language is required 1-3 years of banking and/or credit union industry experience or expertise with a FinTech firm is preferred Experience with federal banking and credit union regulatory agencies and how to remain compliant while still delivering strategic capabilities and business value is preferred Proven success delivering highly effective member experiences in financial services is preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to meet deadlines Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver's license Regular and reliable attendance is required Connect With Us:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
