Administrative Officer/ PD# 26005-0 Responsible to management for the program areas, including office budget and fiscal administration, strategic and operation planning, resource administration, human resources, and reports management. Represents the RPO in both formal and informal management meetings involving planning, budget, and program (including but not limited to human resources, space, supplies, equipment and IT resources) matters concerned with the establishment of policies and decisions that will ultimately lead to the accomplishment of mandated RPO Program goals and objectives. Develops the need for and maintains an awareness of available resources, and makes recommendations to the RPO Director and Deputy Director regarding needs, distribution or redistribution of these resources. Responsible for coordinating the needs of the organization based on both long and short range policies and plans. Administrative lead in administering programs concerning such matters as equal opportunity, merit promotion, labor management relations, and position management Administers space and equipment programs. Responsible for personnel administration including knowledge of personnel operations including position classification, grievance procedures, performance standards, and disciplinary actions. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Time-in-grade:
Applicants who are current Federal employees or who have held a GS grade anytime in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements. Example for a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11 level. Specialized Experience GS-12:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-11) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support functions (i.e., internal activities or functions such as supply, budget, procurement, or personnel which serve to facilitate line or program operations). Knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, policies and precedents which affect the use of program and related support resources (people, money, or equipment) in the area studied. Knowledge of the major issues, program goals and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations of the organization. Knowledge and skill in adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement of program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
